Here’s Where to Go on National Tequila Day in Los Angeles

National Tequila Day is July 24th, and in honor of the holiday, I’m sharing some of the best cocktails for National Tequila Day in Los AngelesMany of them are available at Happy Hour Pricing! There’s even one that gives out the good stuff completely gratis!

This roundup is sectioned off by neighborhood, so you can stay close to home and save on that Uber.

Beverly Hills

Dante Beverly Hills is home to a serious Daily Martini Hour Deal, but this rooftop restaurant perched atop the Mayborne Hotel is also pretty masterful with the agave spirits. There is a whole section of the menu devoted to just agave-based drinks. Enjoy a sip of Tequila & Apples made with Dobel Diamante, fluffy apple juice, celery bitters, and fennel salt, or keep it petite with a “Mini” Maria crafted with Codigo 1530, cold pressed vegetables, fennel salt, and pickles (Pricing is $20 and $9 respectively).

Burbank

Castaway offers the most iconic views in Burbank, and for National Tequila Day, they’ve got a One in Melon cocktail to match. It’s made with Don Julio Blanco Tequila, lime, watermelon, a pinch of pink himalayan salt, mint, and dehydrated lime. It’s available for just $9 during Golden Hour, which runs Monday to Thursday from 4 to 6 p.m.

Bar CDMX is one of the coolest underground bars in DTLA. It also happens to focus on agave and rum spirits. The dim lighting and loud Mexican rock music offer the perfect atmosphere for National Tequila Day. Visit during Daily Happy Hour from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. for $8 Margaritas and $10 Tequila or Mezcal and Beer Combos.

Bar CDMX

Library Bar will highlight their literary Tequila Mockingbird, made with spicy serrano-infused Altos tequila, blackberry pink-peppercorn shrub, lime, and a Tajin rim ($18). Visit during Happy Hour from 3 to 7 p.m. and enjoy a Margarita with tequila, combier, and lime for just $10.

Glendale/Northridge/Sun Valley and More!

Acapulco will be serving up $7 Cadillac Margaritas made with Lunazul Reposado Tequila and a side shot of Cointreau Noir. If you love this deal but can’t make it on National Tequila Day, be sure to stop in on any Wednesday during their Summer Sips promotion, which lasts until September 18th, for the same pricing.

Sister properties El Torito and Chevy’s will additionally be pouring $6 tequila shots all day for the holiday. Enjoy Real del Valle Tequila Shots at El Torito and El Jimador at Chevy’s.
