This is a love story to the 6 Best Limited Edition Oreo flavors that have had me cheating on the original for years now. See which flavor holds the Number 1 Spot from 2023, plus what you can expect for 2024. One of the latest additions to the new line-up is mind-blowingly good and bumped off my #3 cookie.

6. Maple Creme Oreo

This cookie is like a trip to Vermont! You’ve got maple syrup-flavored creme nestled between two golden cookies. It’s the best way to enjoy a stack of pancakes all day.

Availability: Unfortunately, the last time I saw these on the shelves was in September 2019, but I saw other folks enjoying them in 2020. Currently, the closest flavor on the shelves is Snickerdoodle – a brand new one for 2023.

5. The Most Stuf Oreo

They don’t call it America’s favorite cookie for nothing! So in the spirit of the good US of A, bigger is always better. This cookie is so stuffed with cream that you almost always need three chocolate cookies to balance this baby out. Unless you eat it all separately like I do: savoring the creamy center and finishing it off with the cookies at the end.

Availability: While the Most Stuf seems to have limited availability ($18 at Walmart), you’ll always find Double Stuf in stores. Walmart has them for $4.58.

4. Chocolate Peanut Butter Pie Oreo

Has there ever been a better combination in the history of taste buds than peanut butter and chocolate? Well, if you’re a Reese’s Peanut Butter Cup fan, you will love this cookie, which is peanut butter and chocolate between two graham cracker-flavored cookies. It’s also much easier to justify eating 4 Oreos over two packs of Reese’s…

Availability: A little more rare than Double Stuf, but generally available year-round. Target often carries them for a little over $5 and Walmart has a sale right now where they are $2.13!

3. Mint Chip Oreo

It boggles my mind that the scientists at the flavor factory can make something this authentic! Mint Chip Oreo flavor is almost exactly like a scoop of your favorite Mint Chip ice cream, only it’s room temperature. Even the chocolate cookies are imprinted like waffle cones. The mint flavor creme is speckled with chocolate chips and is thicker than a regular Oreo.

Availability: This flavor hit the shelves late summer of 2024 and is less than $5 at Walmart. It’s readily available.

2. Brookie-O Oreo

This is not one for the faint of heart because it combines an already decadent brownie flavor with cookie dough PLUS original creme and then puts that between two MORE cookies! Hence, the reason it’s so thick!

This was number one on my list because, at first bite, I just couldn’t believe they were able to make this insane flavor, but it’s since been demoted to the number two spot just because I can’t find it anywhere.

Availability: It was last widely available in December 2020 and made a return in 2022, but as of now, all I can see is out-of-stock options.

1. The Most Oreo – Cookies-N-Creme

I think this is the Oreo people have been waiting for all their lives. Not only is the flavor a delicious Cookies-N-Creme, but it’s triple stuffed with all that delicious taste! Calories-wise, this is probably the highest I’ve ever seen (110 for just one cookie), but with something this decadent, you can only handle one.

Availability: It’s a limited edition cookie, and hit the shelves February 2023, but right now, I can only find it on Amazon for about $27 dollars.

What’s New in Oreo for 2024

So now here’s what you can readily enjoy for 2024 with no inflated pricing!

Oreo has a Dirt Cake Flavor Creme that hit the shelves on March 4th, 2024. It is inspired by a classic mud pie and includes gummy worm sprinkles on top. This will be a limited-time offering. You can purchase at Walmart for less than $5.

A new line of Tiramisu Thins should also be a more permanent fixture in the Oreo family. For now, you can find them on Oreo.com for $4.50.

January 2024 saw the landing of Oreo Space Dunk Cookies featuring three colorful layers of creme with out-of-this-world popping candy inside.

If you’re reading this in the Summer of 2024, though, then you might be wondering what Oreo Sour Patch Kids Cookies are all about. The base is vanilla with Sour Patch andy flavoring infused in each creamy bite – and speaking of the creme – I swear it’s double the size! They are so sweet that even my kids only ate half, but this 40-year-old woman sort of loves them :). Find them at Walmart for $4.28.

Favorite Oreo Flavors of the Past

I wanted to keep this list to my top 6 flavors, so unfortunately, a few have been demoted to make room for new favorites, but they are still worth a mention.

Strawberry Frosted Donut Oreo

This is what I like to call the Homer Simpson doughnut. It’s got strawberry-flavored creme with a hint of pastry that’s decked out in glitter between two golden cookies. Once you taste this, you will be scouring the stores for more!! I had trouble letting my firstborn have the last cookie in our house 🙂

Availability: You’ll find some on eBay for around $12, but freshness is not guaranteed.
