There’s a New Bacari in Beverly Hills and it’s Better than Ever

There’s a warmth that emanates from the new Bacari in Beverly Hills, and it’s not just the lighting. Laughter among friends catching up over a 90-minute open bar and dozens of small plates makes for a perfect kind of Sunday. See what’s new at the seventh location in Los Angeles and why this city should have a Bacari in every backyard.

The Vibe at Bacari in Beverly Hills

Bacari in Beverly Hills has such a wonderful indoor/outdoor flow that you won’t even notice when you’ve been whisked away to a table. The design is a collaboration between owner Robert Kronfli and Adean Studios, and it feels like you’re in a cozy restaurant in Provence over candlelight, even in the afternoon. The restaurant feels busy without being crowded, and if you’re a curious onlooker finishing some shopping on Brighton Way, it’s tempting to drop your bags and come on in.

What are you Eating?

The Bacari brand is known for its Mediterranean small plates, created by Executive Chef Lior Hillel, like Shawarma Tacos and Bacari Fries with addictive “bcn” sauce. Still, there are a few items that are exclusive to Beverly Hills.

The new menu items include a Lentil Stew with limu omani oil and garlic croutons, as well as Red Wine Braised Beef Cheeks with goat cheese polenta and Aleppo oil. You’ll also find a roasted Delicata Squash
with cashew salsa di noci, herbed arugula salad, and farro. Of these three, I can recommend the Squash as the other two are a bit of an acquired taste.

Also not to be missed are the cornbread-crusted Fried Chicken Sliders with pickled cucumber and the Lamb Hummus with veggie crudite and warm, fluffy pita.

If sweets are on your mind, the most popular include the Malabi rosewater custard and The Best Cake, crafted with Medjool dates and bacon.

Nothing on the menu is over $16.50, so it’s perfect for pairing.

What are you Drinking?

Bacari is home to a 90-minute Open Bar, which includes house Red, White, Rose, Sparkling Wines, Mimosas, Bellinis, Sangria, and Bacari Beer for just $32 a person. If you like cocktails, it’s just $5 more for 2-part well-liquor drinks and $5 more on top of that for Signature Cocktails.

The newest signature sips on the menu include the Permanent Vacation, a rum-based cocktail infused with pineapple and cinnamon bitters and topped with dehydrated pineapple slices and brûléed cinnamon sugar, and The Resurrection, which features mezcal, Licor 43, Cocchi Americano, and a lemon-lime citrus mix.
