Dine LA Restaurant Week
From January 24th through February 7th, you can enjoy a prix-fixe at some sometimes friendly pricing at over 300 restaurants in Los Angeles for Dine LA. Lunches and Dinners begin at just $15! $5 from each reservation will be donated on your behalf to the American Red Cross courtesy of the LA Tourism Board and then matched by the Banc of California up to $100,000. I always love to squeeze the juice out of every deal, and these are the ones worth making lemonade with this season.
Beginning in Santa Monica, SOCALO from Chefs Susan Feniger and Mary Sue Milliken has you covered with a $15, 2-course lunch special. Items include Baja Fish Ceviche to begin with and Chicken Tacos Dorados or a Santa Monica Street Bowl as a main dish, among other dishes. Dinner is $45 and includes dessert and expanded restaurant offerings. Reservations can be made here.
In Beverly Hills, The Hideaway offers a 3-course Lunch plus Amuse for just $25! That includes a Guacamole for the table, a choice of Empanadas or Bocaditos, main course offerings that include Short Rib Enchiladas and Fish Tacos, and a Flan for dessert. Dinner is $65 and includes Cava and additional menu choices. Reserve here.
Next, in Burbank, I love Yakumi, which produces delicious and high-quality sushi boxes. During Dine LA, they are offering two pieces of Big Eye Tuna, Yellowtail, Salmon, Albacore, and Shrimp, plus Edamame, two additional Classic Rolls, Salad, and a Mango Lychee Martini, all for only $35! No reservations are needed.
If you’re in West Hollywood, enjoy a seat in the maritime classic that is Connie & Ted’s. A 3-course Lunch including Half a Dozen Oysters, a Deep Fried Cod Sandwich with Sides, and a Freshly Baked Chocolate Chip Cookie is $35. Dinner steps it up a notch with a Lobster Roll and additional menu items beginning at $55.

Just a Little Fundraiser (West Hollywood)
Koi Restaurant in West Hollywood and NYC is inviting guests to enjoy “Just a Little” Shot for $5. 100% of the proceeds will be used to support wildfire relief efforts. While you’re there, sample some of their classic dishes from the early 2000s, including Crispy Rice with Spicy Tuna & Truffle Avocado.
The Slice & Pint Fundraiser (South Bay)
Visit The Slice & Pint January 25th and 26th to give back to the youth of the neighborhood. $10 from every The Slice & Pint Anniversary Pie and specialty Tartiflette Pizza with white sauce and duck confit will be donated to non-profit youth sports and recreation organizations in the areas affected by the wildfires. Pair that with a new Spark Plug Light IPA, and you’ve got yourself a weekend.
There’s also an opportunity to donate lightly used sports equipment and uniforms at GirlTalk just down the alley, which if you have kids, are probably piled up in your garage, aching for a new home.
Best of all El Segundo Brewing Company and The Slice & Pint will be matching all donations made at their three locations in the South Bay over the weekend, up to $10,000.

Lunar New Year Celebration (Beverly Center)
Celebrate the Year of the Snake in style at The Beverly Center on January 25th from 1:30 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. Tickets include Tea and Cocktail Samples, Bites from restaurants like Yardbird and AB Steak, and Special Performances and Giveaways.
Tickets are $30, and 100% of the proceeds will be matched and donated to the LAFD Foundation.

Just place an order on their app or website and choose to add on a $10 Meal Donation for the LAFD. Starbird will then match each donation with an additional meal, which will be delivered over the next few weeks.
