Get lost in the Humboldt Fog (All through April)

Catch the Shows during Los Angeles Theatre Week (March 26th to April 14th)

Los Angeles Theatre Week is a magical two weeks when the best local shows and musicals are available for as low as $20 a ticket!

Get all the Spring Feels (Ongoing)

The Super bloom is upon us, which is the best time of year to get out and smell the flowers.

In the Los Angeles area, the must-view spots include Point Dume in Malibu and Chino Hills State Park in Chino Hills. If you choose to venture out a little further to the Antelope Valley California Poppy Reserve, you can check out their live cam first so you don’t waste your gas in case things aren’t blooming yet to your liking.

Play at the Santa Anita Spring Carnival (April 4th to the 7th)

There’s something for everyone at the Santa Anita Spring Carnival in Arcadia. Taking place the 4th through the 7th of April. Events include a BBQ Championship, an infield Easter Egg Hunt, Rides, and More.

Party at the Angels 1st Home Game (April 5th)

It’s officially baseball season, and the Angels are playing at home in Anaheim on Friday, April 5th, at 6:39 p.m. against the Red Socks. Enjoy discounted tickets with this link.

National Beer Day is April 7th, and Yard House is celebrating with $10 Half Yards All Day. That’s 32 ounces of the cold stuff.

Glimpse a Total Solar Eclipse (April 8th)

On April 8th, from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. PST, there will be a total solar eclipse across Mexico, the United States, and Canada. completely blocking the face of the sun. Most of North America can view at least a partial solar eclipse.

Enjoy a Free Concert (April 10th, April 17th, April 24th)

Plan the Perfect Passover (April 22nd to April 30th)

Celebrate Passover with your extended family at AKASHA with their annual Passover Seder on Monday, April 22nd, at 6:15 p.m. This year, the event will be hosted by the award-winning cookbook author Joan Nathan!

Pricing for the Seder is $160 for adults and $108 for children under ten and includes a Reception, a 3-course Meal including Wine and Coffee, and a Service led by Merissa Gerson Nathan.

Celebrate Earth Day (April 22nd)

More than 50 Earth Day Celebrations are happening in Los Angeles, including many a Beach Cleanup. Register here for the Venice Beach cleanup beginning at 10 a.m. on April 22nd. Glendale will hold an Earth Day Fair on April 20th, where you can donate clothes, enjoy games and face painting for kids, and learn about conservation. The event begins at 11 a.m. in Verdugo Park.

Stagecoach Music Festival (April 26th-28th)

If you missed Coachella, perhaps you’d like to head out to the desert for another kind of concert. Celebrate Country music’s biggest music festival with passes for a whole weekend for the Stagecoach Music Festival to enjoy artists like Miranda Lambert and Willie Nelson in Indio, California.

Pizza City Fest (April 27th and 28th)

Any way you slice it, this is going to be delicious. Pizza City Fest is a pizza festival hosted at L.A. Live in Downtown Los Angeles. The event takes place from Noon to 5 p.m. and features pies and demonstrations from over twenty of the hottest pizzerias in Los Angeles. Each day has different restaurants in attendance.

Tickets begin at $125 and UNLIMITED PIZZA SLICES and DRINKS. Kids under 3 are free. A portion of the proceeds will benefit C-CAP, a Careers through Culinary Arts program.

These events might not be in April, but if you don’t act fast, it “May” pass you by.

  • Taste of the Nation for No Kid Hungry will be held again in Los Angeles on Saturday, May 4th, at Media Park in Culver City, CA. The event features over 40 Los Angeles Chefs and mixologists, cooking demos, games, and more, all benefiting No Kid Hungry’s work to end childhood hunger across the country. Tickets are expected to sell out, so don’t wait if this interests you.
