Mess-Free Tuna Kids Meal for Dining Out!
Although most of the restaurants I venture out to these days are kid-friendly, sometimes I do have to prepare my own children’s meal in advance just to be safe.
Here is my go-to recipe for a fast and easy mess-free tuna kids meal for dining out with your little one!! Trust me I’m better with reservations than recipes; so if I can handle this, anyone can!
Ingredients
- 0.5 teaspoon dried dill weed
Recipe
20-25 Minutes 25 minutes
Tuna Pockets (makes about 5-6 pockets depending on your biscuit dough)
- Preheat the oven according to your Dough Canister
Most likely it’s 350 degrees but make sure.
- Mix Ingredients
Lightly stir together the tuna, celery, shredded Cheddar cheese, dill, and mayonnaise until well combined.
- Flatten and Fill
Flatten the biscuit dough to about 1/4-inch thick, and place the 8 flattened biscuits on an ungreased baking sheet. Place about 3 tablespoons of the tuna mixture on top of each biscuit, and top each with another flattened biscuit. Pinch the edges to seal in the filling.
- Bake
Bake in the preheated oven until the filling is hot and the pockets are lightly browned about 15 minutes. Refrigerate leftovers.
Last Comes the Taste Test!
Maybe you can’t tell but he LOVES IT!! This recipe is so easy and can be made even healthier by choosing Organic Whole Wheat Biscuit Dough instead of the generic brand I used for this experiment.
And now you’ve got yourself a fast and easy mess-free tuna kids meal for dining out with your little one!
