Your Fig & Olive Brunch
I am the ultimate fan of the Fig & Olive dinner menu, but after trying the new summer brunch menu I just might be a daytime convert. Best of all you also get live Jazz music after noon!
Begin with Bread
Although an additional cost, the Bread & Viennoiseries is an excuse to finish the basket yourself! It’s served with an array of butter and jams of which my favorite combination has to be the olive oil honey spread with the home-made fig jam.
First Course
There are Soups and Salads to be had, but why not start on a decadent note like the Mushroom Croquette with truffle aioli and parmesan.
Second Course
Final Course
While I am a fan of the original Pot de Creme, this one stands on its own with a lighter consistency almost like a pudding. Seasonal Sorbet is also available.
The Fig & Olive Brunch Takeaway
The Fig & Olive Brunch prix-fixe-fixe menu is $34 for three courses and a cocktail or coffee! The menu options are multiple and some even include what you might enjoy during the pricier dinner — so why not enjoy it in the daylight hours!
The restaurant is located in the Melrose Place neighborhood which is very trendy and offers some supreme shopping. You can leave the car at valet and have a whole afternoon in Los Angeles!
