Lunch & Libations at Bourbon Steak

This week kicks off the brand new lunch menu at Bourbon Steak. Chef Michael Mina’s Bourbon Steak Los Angeles is located conveniently for me at The Americana Mall right here in Glendale!

While I’ve always been a fan of their weekend brunches and decadent dinners, Executive Chef Kyle Johnson says lunch will be focused on lighter fare with rotating culinary themes. Best of all the new lunch menu at Bourbon Steak will feature a 3-course seasonal menu for $28.50; which is just a fraction of what an entree will cost you at dinner.

The kick-off lunch menu features Mediterranean inspired dishes while still offering the carnivorous delicacies that Bourbon Steak is known for.

Here’s a look at what you should be eating. The ones with the stars* made me happiest!

Daytime Cocktails

Save the Whisky Cart for dinner and enjoy a Lucky Lindy while the sun is still out. Made with vodka, aperol, kaffir lime, and honey it’s the most refreshing way to start your lunch. It’s also available during their Happy Hour.

Shellfish & Appetizers

Chef Michael Mina’s signature Duck Spring Rolls*GINGER-CHILI DIPPING SAUCE, MINT, CILANTRO

Available at both lunch and dinner as a signature Mina favorite

Trio of Ceviche OCTOPUS, SALMON POKE, AND HALIBUT CEVICHE (left to right)

Priced perfectly at less than $10 and tastier than what you’ll find at most Middle Eastern restaurants, which for Glendale is saying a lot 🙂 

Salads

Worth ordering just because it looks so beautiful on your table 

Chopped Tuna Nicoise* POTATO, OLIVE, HARICOTS VERTS, TOMATO

Chilled Crab Soba Noodles* ASPARAGUS, CARROTS, TOMATO, PEANUTS, THAI CHILI

Hard to believe the best place to get some soba noddles might be a steakhouse

Burgers & Sandwiches, all served with fries or a market salad 

BBQ Bacon Burger, JALAPEÑO CHEDDAR, ONION RING, HOUSE BBQ SAUCE

Just the right amount of wrong, share with a friend and order a Tuna Nicoise if you’re counting your onion rings 

Entrees

Steak Frites*, TRI-TIP STEAK, CHIMICHURRI, PICKLED FRIES

Only available at lunch time and priced under $20, it’s a standout dish

Bourbon Baby?

Great news for all the parents out there, Bourbon Steak welcomes babies during all meal seatings. Just be sure not to push out the whiskey cart instead of your stroller.
