TUESDAY

Spinfish Poke House 

With locations in Santa Monica, Pasadena,La Cañada Flintridge, and Little Tokyo it’s hard not to find a Spinfish that works for you. Guests can choose to “build their own” bowl or choose from the enormous list of signature bowls. Menu favorites include the Aloha 808 with sesame shoyu, ogo limu, hawaiian sea salt, chili flake, green onion, and sweet onion; and the Shaka with sriracha aioli, masago, panko, and green onion Even with signature bowls you can choose your fish and base. Prices begin at $10.50 for a small (2 scoops) and go to $15.00 for a large (5 scoops).

Coté Est

A 4-course prix-fixe for $18? Tuesday never tasted so decadent! Here is just a sample of what you might expect from Coté Est in Highland Park on a typical Tuesday night. Amuse-Bouche of Crouton smashed English peas & golden raisin chutney; Apéritif of Leek & Èpoisses Croquette; an Entrée of Sauteed Petrale Sole Meunière with lemon, capers, brown butter & asparagus; and a Dessert of Port & Vanilla Poached Pear with vanilla ice cream & cinnamon shortbread cookie.

WEDNESDAY

Although I’m all about my Taco Tuesday, $1 Taco Wednesday’s at Candela on La Brea might just be worth waiting a day for. Enjoy one of 12 different taco options like Crema de Elote con Chile Poblanos, Al Pastor Con Pina or Carne Asada a la Parilla with the purchase of a drink.

Thursday 

When a 3-course meal costs the same as a bottle of wine, and it’s all under $20…there’s no excuse not to go all out. Every Thursday night at Barbrix you can expect menu items like a starter Little Gem Salad with brioche crumbs and blue cheese; main course of Rigatoni Bolognese with Parmesan and gremolata; and a finisher of Cinnamon Hush Puppies with maple caramel. Savor your night even more with rotating featured vintner’s like Lucky Frog offering $15 wines by the bottle.
