YES!! The Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf® is offering free delivery on Postmates; Veggie Grill is offering $1 delivery; and Doordash has also lowered fees to ZERO during this time.
Yes, there’s that too! Smithfield Foods will be donating $5 to to CORE™: CHILDREN OF RESTAURANT EMPLOYEES, the national nonprofit organization dedicated to serving food and beverage service employees with children who are faced with qualifying life-altering circumstances.
Wait, these look like chain restaurants! Shouldn’t I help the little guy?
Yes, these are “chain restaurants”, but even the McDonald’s up the street has a franchise owner. So while some of these restaurants may feel like big corporate money is behind them, the person squeezing the lemons into your lemonade could still use one more day behind the counter. And the owner of your local Habit Burger still has to pay that franchise fee…
So eat big and eat small as much as you can! I’ll be taking advantage of the free delivery from The Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf® on Postmates and enjoying a large, sugar-filled latte while I play Miss Mommy to this little guy in my 24-hour home-school!…
