Yes, way Rosé Day LA
This year more than ever, the cup of rosé wine in Los Angeles has indeed runneth over. Once only lauded as a summer beverage, it’s now perfectly acceptable to sip the pink drink all year! National Rosé Day falls on the second Saturday in June, and this year I’ve got ways to make every day a Rosé Day, plus celebrate on the holiday.

Rosé on Rose Wine Fest (Venice)
The first-ever Rosé on Rose Wine Fest, is happening on Saturday, June 10th, where guests can sip on Rosé while enjoying the shops and offerings on Rose Avenue in Venice, California.
The event takes place from Noon to 7 p.m. where guests are encouraged to not only wear the pink hue but completely revel in it with Rosé Tastings, Entertainment, Discounts at participating stores, and a Pink Disco Recovery Lounge.
Participating locations include American Beauty, Café Gratitude, Chulita, Jeni’s Splendid Ice Creams, and of course The Rose Venice. Check the website for the full list and to purchase tickets.
General admission begins at $20 and includes food and drink specials as well as after-party access from 5 to 7 p.m. A portion of the proceeds will benefit the Venice Family Clinic, helping those most in need in the community.
The Bottomless Bunch
Bacari GDL, Bacari PDR, and Bacari Silverlake all do Bottomless Rosé Day on the daily, with 90-minute sprints of all-you-can-drink EVERY NIGHT ($30). Just remember to pace yourself and fill up on their delicious Cicchetti small plates.
By the Glass
The Ruby Fruit in Silverlake is the first sapphic wine bar in the neighborhood to open since 2017, and they specialize in Pink and Orange Wines and good times. Stop by for a Blaufränkisch Rosé available for $17 a glass or $68 a bottle, and pair it with their newly added lunch menu like an Eggs & Greens Sandwich ($10) or Smoked Mushrooms and Farro ($16). The restaurant is also open for dinner service.
Brunch/lunch happens from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m., and dinner runs from 5 to 10 p.m. most days. The restaurant is closed Mondays and Tuesdays.
For a Rosé with that’s perfect on a sunny day, enjoy a Froze frozen cocktail made with rosé wine, Bacardi rum, strawberry, and lemon on the rooftop at E.P & L.P. in West Hollywood ($18). Visit during Happy Hour, which runs from 4 to 6 p.m., Mondays to Fridays, and get the beverage for just $10.
That’s one way to make Rosé Day every day in L.A.
Also in West Hollywood is Sur Restaurant & Lounge, where they offer a CÔTÉ SUR Brunch from 11 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. Reality TV star and restauranteur Lisa Vanderpump bottles her own pink drink, which is aptly named Vanderpump Rosé. It’s $16 by the glass and $60 for the bottle, but there are also five other brands to choose from.
Le Petit Paris in Downtown Los Angeles offers $9 glasses of Rosé during Happy Hour, which runs ALL DAY EVERY DAY but Saturday on the patio. Weekends are reserved for brunch, during which you can get Whispering Angel, Cuvée d’Esclans, Côtes de Provence for $15 or $65 for the bottle.
If you’re looking to develop your wine palate, then head to Santa Monica’s Esters Wine Shop & Bar for their DAILY Happy Hour from 4 to 6 p.m.
Guests can enjoy $10 glasses of rosé along with other wine selections. The co-owner Kathryn Coker was named one of Food & Wine’s 2017 Sommeliers of the Year, so you can trust that you’re only having the best with her.
Rosé Day LA (June 24th)
Although National Rosé Day is technically on June 10th, that’s not stopping this event from holding it later in the month. Head to King Gillette Ranch in Calabasas to tipple Rosé among the rolling hills for Rosé Day LA. Tickets begin at $175, and that includes an open bar. The event goes from 1 p.m. to 8 p.m. Get your tickets here.
Booze-Free Holiday
The Prima Pave brand makes both a Rosé Brut and a Rosé Dolce. The Brut is a dealcoholized wine blend made with Italian grapes of Montepulciano d’Abruzzo, Pinot Grigio, Sauvignon Blanc, and Gewürztraminer, so it tastes exactly like the real thing. Bottles are $25 each with free shipping when you spend over $75 – so get ready to have a party.
If you’re local to Los Angeles, pick up a bottle at The New Bar in Venice for $29.99. It’s a completely alcohol-free marketplace.
Now that’s living La Vie en Rosé!
A Rosé Day is always better with friends, so consider sharing the post below and watch as people bubble with excitement!
