One of the world’s best sandwiches is officially making Los Angeles its next home! Florentine sandwich shop All’Antico Vinaio has already made a splash in NYC, with consistent lines around the block packed with people craving those schiacciata bread creations. Find out where and when the grand opening will be for the newest Los Angeles location, plus how you can get your first Sandwich FREE!!
All about All’Antico Vinaio
All’Antico Vinaio was founded by the Mazzanti family in 1991. The name means “at the ancient wine merchant’s,” and its roots are actually in a wine bar. The sandwiches are known for being made with the freshest Tuscan ingredients including the La Schiacciata del Boss, which features three simple ingredients: prosciutto Toscano, pecorino Toscano, and truffle cream on schiacciata bread.
At the original location in Florence, the quality far outweighs the time in lime, in part due to the low price point (as low as 7 Euros for some). But here in the States, rent is just a little bit higher, so you can expect to pay $15-20 a sandwich.
The New Location
All’Antico Vinaio already has a location in Venice Beach, but if you live on the Eastside of Los Angeles, it might as well be in Venice, Italy! The newest location will be in Koreatown at the intersection of 6th and Western, and opening day is set for March 29th, 2024.
How to Get your FREE Sandwich at All’Antico Vinaio
This place will always have lines, so you might as well take advantage of a FREE Sandwich offer! Be among the first 1000 people in line when the doors open at Noon, and you can get any sandwich of your choosing FOR FREE! You can also purchase a second sandwich if you choose.
There will be a ribbon cutting at 11 a.m. with Tommy Mazzanti and restauranteur Joe Bastianich in attendance if you’d like to get there even earlier.
Must-haves include the aforementioned La Schiacciata del Boss and La Favolosa, with Sbriciolona, Pecorino Cream, artichoke cream, and spicy eggplant, which is consistently mentioned as a global favorite.
