Mimosas & Mutts
Looking for the newest dog-friendly brunch in the city? Panxa Cocina in the Belmont Heights area of Long Beach is kicking off it’s first monthly “Mimosas & Mutts” brunch to coincide with the lunar new year. Every third Saturday of the month guests can enjoy a dog-friendly brunch from 10 AM-3 PM with menu items for those of us with two legs or four!
Must have menu items include Blue Corn Piñon Pancakes ($10) and Stacked Enchiladas ($12), as well as classic brunch cocktails like the Broadway Mary ($10) and Mimosas ($4). For our furry friends choose between Sweet Potato ($5),Brown Rice ($5), Vegan Black Beans ($5), or all of the above for $10! Pups also receive triple filtered Vero water free of charge!
Mason’s Dumplings
Don’t feel like driving to the San Gabriel Valley for your New Year snacks? Mason’s Dumplings in Highland Park has got you covered! Already beloved for their Luscious Dumplings location in the SGV, Mason’s handmakes the dumplings in Monrovia and drives them over throughout the day. While their Fried Pork Dumplings might be what they are known for, consider the Boiled Chives and Pork Dumpling for a more traditional version. Nothing on the menu is over $11.
Chinese New Year Night Market
Taking place at 6:30 PM on February 23rd, high on the 24th floor of The Ritz-Carlton, Nest at WP24 will be transforming itself into a Night Market with interactive food stations serving traditional Chinese delicacies. Lion dancers will help paint the picture of a lively street food atmosphere. The $56 per person price covers unlimited visits to the buffet as well as a signature Year of the Dog Cocktail.
