Your Royal Wedding Party
Prince Harry is finally tying the knot, but unless your name is Meghan Markle you’re going to have to plan your own Royal Wedding Party at home. Luckily I’ve got just the things to make this Saturday May 19th 2018 even more memorable for you!
Start with a little caffeine
The Royal Wedding begins at Noon across the pond, but if you’re looking to watch it live-ish in the states you’ll be choosing between a 4:15 AM start time on BBC America, a 5 AM start time on Good Morning America, or for your true fans a Midnight pre-wedding showcase on BBC World News. Pick any of those options and its EARLY! So don’t fumble around with a glass pot when you can simplify life with the click of a button and a K-Elite Single Serve Coffee Maker. Coffee, British Tea, and 15% off is available now on Keurig.com.
Spice it up
This is coffee on a Saturday after all, so lets keep it interesting! Make it a Here Comes the Bride by adding 1.5 oz Crown Royal Vanilla, 4 Oz of that freshly made coffee on ice, and .5 oz of simple syrup.
Sweeten the deal
Sprinkles Cupcakes has not one but TWO specialty baked treats to make your party even sweeter. Available all weekend, pick up Lemon Blueberry Cake made with St. Germaine vanilla buttercream frosting and topped with edible flowers; or a Royal Wedding Mini Sampler with Red Velvet, Vanilla, and Dark Chocolate mini cupcakes.
Don’t forget the tea and crumpets
The quaint Rose Tree Cottage in Pasadena offers a wide array of teas, scones, and sticky toffee puddings; however they claim from the start not to be the cheapest :). Cost Plus World Market will also get the job done, and their branded The Crown products are on sale now.
If you feel like going out instead…
Then The Cat and the Fiddle in Hollywood is absolutely your place to be. Purchase your $25 tickets on Eventbrite for The Royal Slumber Party from 2 AM-6 PM! Entry includes a Pub Quiz Trivia game; prizes for best dressed (pjs and Fascinators are encouraged); raffle tickets to London; and delicious goodies like walnut ginger scones and tea. Also available for purchase; mocktails, The Bloody Harry & Markle Sparkle :).
Royal Wedding enthusiasts who just can’t wait till 2 AM can join the fun during Late Night Happy Hour from 11 PM-1 AM. The ticketed party starts at 2 AM and the royal ceremony begins at 4 AM. Last man standing can also join in the fun during Afternoon Tea from 2-5 PM.
